While Team GB has been busy winning a bundle of medals in Rio, others have been training and refining their skills throwing themselves out of aeroplanes over Netheravon, the home of the Army Parachuting Centre. Their focus is on the Armed Forces Parachute Championships being held this week.
The 2016 Championships are being sponsored by Team Army and Revision Military. It just shows that sometimes sport provides the ideal way to test and adjust product development! Team Euphoria were delighted with the performance of the Hellfly and Exoshield ballistic eyewear. Three-time National Champion and Team captain Andy Godwin (pictured in the UJ shirt at top of page) has been a member of the APA for many years and does most of his training at Netheravon. New team member for 2016 is Glenn Wainwright (Royal Signals) and the pair are hoping to do well at the British National Championships later this month.
