Team Ethos recently helped support the RN Squash Rackets Association on their tour of Malaysia where they played squash against well-matched teams including some junior stars of the future.
‘Starting off in Kuala Lumpur, the local ‘squash guide’ Aanont organised various fixtures to get the team acclimatised to playing in 30+ degrees Celsius with no air conditioning, quite different to how the ball moves around the court back in the UK! Fixtures were played against Kelab Negara, Lake View Club and Bukit Sports Club, where the players got the opportunity to play on the all glass national court that had hosted the Asian Individual Squash Championships only the week before.
