Members and Supporters of Team Army can enjoy a broad range of engagement opportunities.
High-level sports fixtures provide an excellent opportunity for stakeholder engagement with Army personnel and our network of industry partners. An example is the annual Army Alpine Championships in Serre Chevalier, attended by many senior officers and industry sponsors over the week-long duration of the competition.
Networking events are hosted by individual Army sports associations with a guest list including senior officers and industry partners. Typically they include season-launch cocktail parties and formal annual dinners.
Charity fundraising events organised by Team Army include, for example, gala dinners with a sporting competition as the main attraction.
Showcase events are regular sporting fixtures by invitation from an Army sports association and provide networking opportunities alongside an Army championship activity. An example is the annual inter-services 20:20 cricket competition each year at Lords, where sponsors can host non-military and military guests (invited by the Army Cricket Association) in private hospitality boxes.
The Team Army mark has been approved by the Army to be used as the public-facing brand for Army sport and as such provides a valuable association when placed alongside sponsor brands. For example, the Team Army brand can appear in your marketing communications to demonstrate your support of Army sport as ‘proud supporters of Team Army’. Websites, exhibitions, products and advertising all become channels in which your association with Army sport and Team Army can achieve significant awareness.
