Team Forces is delighted to announce that Microsoft has just renewed their gold level sponsorship and will be supporting us for another year to help add social value and create wellbeing through sport and physical activity for the armed forces community.

Microsoft’s mission, to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more, strongly aligns with what Team Forces hopes to achieve through our social impact projects. Microsoft will be supporting organisations such as the Ulysses Trust, which enables Cadet Forces around the UK to undertake challenging and adventurous expeditions, and Climbing Out which offers outdoor activity programmes aimed at rebuilding confidence, self-esteem and motivation in people who have been through a life changing injury, illness or trauma. Microsoft will also be supporting Captain Preet Chandi MBE (Polar Preet) on her record-breaking solo and unsupported attempt to cross Antarctica.

As a trusted, respected and highly valued institution with a high measure of social purpose, Microsoft’s support for Team Forces will clearly demonstrate their corporate social responsibility.

Aaron Neil, UK Defence and Secure Markets Lead at Microsoft said: “We are delighted to have renewed our Team Forces membership for 2022/23. Microsoft is committed to championing the inclusion, recruitment, development and recognition of the military community, a mission that fully aligns to the Team Forces ethos. We are particularly looking forward to working with Ulysses Trust and Climbing Out this year, organisations that align to our values. We also wish Captain Preet Chandi MBE the best of luck in her second expedition!”

We are extremely pleased that Microsoft has renewed their gold membership with us. This is a company that truly lives up to its core values and with their support we will increase our social value impact this year. Together we will achieve more for the armed forces community.
